First 5 hires. You set the bar. The work you ship in month one defines what the company is in year one.
You'll be the founding engineer for our AI product line. Build the platform. Pick the stack. Hire the team. Talk to customers. Write the docs. Ship.
What you'll do:
- Own a major surface area end-to-end from week one
- Make the hard early calls: which problems to attack, which to defer, which architecture
- Recruit and mentor the next 10 engineers
- Work directly with the founders on company-shaping decisions
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years shipping production AI/ML systems
- Strong taste in product and code
- Comfortable with ambiguity; allergic to waiting for permission
- Bonus: prior founding experience or open-source maintainership
